Creating Links to Customer Segments
Each Canvas hypothesis should be linked to at least one Customer Segment to show how your idea links back to the customer.
To link a hypothesis to a Customer Segment:
1. Hover over the hypothesis and click the link icon.
2. Select all of the Customer Segments you wish to link the hypothesis to.
3. That's it, your selections will be saved automatically.
Viewing Linked Hypotheses
There are times you may want to focus on single Customer Segment and the hypotheses linked to it.
We've made it easy for you to toggle between a full view and a Customer Segment view, hiding all unrelated entries from the Canvas.
1. Hover over the Customer Segment of your choosing.
2. Click the link icon. This will filter the canvas to only show the chosen Customer Segment and hypotheses linked to it in other segments.
While in this view, any new hypotheses you add will be automatically linked to the Customer Segment selected. You can even export the canvas in this state.
3. Click the X in the Customer Segment to return to the regular Canvas view.
