Updating your profile

Access Your Profile Information

Click your avatar in the upper right corner of the platform and select "Profile".

Add an Avatar Image

To upload a profile picture:

1. Click on the upload icon on the avatar circle.

2. Select a file from your computer to upload as your picture.

Your image is saved upon upload. 

Click 'Cancel' to exit the Profile menu. 

Manage Notification Preferences

1. Email Notifications: Receive notifications by email every time your Interviews receive Feedback or Hypotheses receive Comments (Instructors are only notified for Hypotheses they've already engaged with).

• Use the toggle to turn Email Notifications on or off. 

  

2. Slack Notifications: 

• Click "Add to Slack" to link Innovation Within to your Slack account. 

  

• Read the instructions on selecting the correct channel for your Slack notifications. You'll want your notifications to go to your own Direct Message channel in an organization with Innovation Within integrated.
